A professor at the college required a website where he could keep his students informed of the needed text for classes, class syllabus, assignemnts, sample exams, and a discussion area when students could help themselves. The site also had to be easily maintanable with a minimal amount of effort on his part.

Sys-cor was able to have him up and running within a few days to beat the beginning of his semester. i-SiteCentral™ was used to give the professor the easy and simplicity of maintaining his website content and to keep his content current.

The president of Mt Woodson PTA came to Sys-Cor to move their website into the 21st century. Their old website had hand prints of many people attempting the updates over the years to the point that they lost the consistency of their website theme. The PTA required that the website be easy enough to update that an 11 year old could make required updates without any major difficulty. The website administration needed to allow for secure multi-users to make the updates and that the website could grow as the programs and responsibility of the PTA grew.

Sys-Cor created a theme that was representative of a grade school PTA, but also was able to present their information consistently in an adult fashion as if they were talking to the parents of the children rather than the children themselves. Crucial school and PTA information is at the finger tips of the parents. There is no more digging or clicking around to find the information they need. We also incorporated mechanisms for the administrators to give greater details of information rather than just partial snippets they were used to posting. An alert system was added so parents could see what were upcoming important issues or events when they viewed the home page of the website. The availability of printable listings of events and PTA contacts removes the unnecessary background art work presenting only the information required. A sleek language translation module was also included for the spanish speaking parents, thus including them in the information loop.

With i-SiteCentral as an intergal part of the package, the integrated mailblaster allows the PTA to keep those wanting more frequent updated information to recevied that information right in their email boxes. Mt. Woodson PTA is now able to make the transition into the information world easily.
